Article 007: Themed skeletons.
Note: This is a translation from this article.
I’d like to start by saying thank you to all the loyal readers of this blog. It feels great to realise that there are people that actually visit this site every day.
The aim of these articles is to illustrate what is currently under construction in a such a way that can be understood and felt. It seems that I am having some success, and if it turns out that we can meet during the expo that would be even better.
Today’s topic is skeletons. Right now, there are some buildings that are already finished, while the others are at different stages of the construction process: some have reached the interior finishes stage, others the exterior finishes stage, and others are at the framing stage, which is dedicated to put in place the skeleton of the building.
Before those stages there has been two more: foundation and, first of all, earth moving to prepare the terrain. As far as I know there is only one building at this first stage (in good honesty, earth moving hasn’t even started yet), a building that it is going to turn out a surprise. You can’t say you haven’t been warned.
Most of the themed plazas are at the framing stage, at different levels of progress. Almost all of them are constructed with metallic framing, although each of the plazas has its own personality. I’m going begin the week showing you general views of them and we’ll consider specific details of each plaza in coming articles.
